The Hi Octane is an amp designed by the folks at AX84.com. It consists of a high gain preamp, a 3 band eq and a single EL84 power tube which is cathode biased and delivers 5-7 watts of power.

The speaker enclosure contains one 12" Celestion G12H30 in a open back cabinet. The cabinet is made of 1" mdf and the baffle is 1/2" birch plywood.

I found the project to be a great learning experience which offered many challenges and rewards, as well as a rockin' amp!
